I have several different favorite movies. One of my favorites is Megamind. Disguised as a children's movie about the villain of a superhero story winning, this movie is filled with hilarious one-liners and is funny to me no matter how many times I watch it.
ReplyDeleteI don’t necessarily discriminate against movies, it’s usually about the writing or the acting that makes me dislike a movie. If a movie is full of plotholes or doesn’t tell a meaningful story, I tend to dislike it.
I probably watch a movie every two weeks. I like watching movies at my house with my family or just my parents. We have unspoken rules and customs to movie watching that don’t happen when I watch movies in other places. My dad and I are the silent movie types, so anyone who talks during a movie irritates the crap out of me. With my family, they all stay silent and ask questions after the movie and we have almost a formal discussion of the movie.
In order to watch a movie, I need to have silence, something to do with my hands, and a dark room. Another thing I need is a clear view of the screen. My wonderful siblings love to get up during movies and it makes me want to scream at them, but instead, I politely ask them to move.
The survey says that I’m a child at heart? While I love my movie quotes with my mom and I like having company, I truly enjoy more sinister films that children should not watch. So while in some ways I am a child at heart, it’s simply not entirely true.
I think that the movie would just be uncomfortably sad. Like one of those movies where, yes, it is very sad but not enough to cry or feel deeply affected. And I honestly have no clue who would play me. There aren’t enough genderneutral actors out there for me to decide. I don’t think there is enough actors who understand the roots of my unhappiness enough to convey it. Maybe I’m being overdramatic, but I just am doubtful. The movie would probably start sometime during my middle school years, if not high school with flashbacks to middle school. I hope there’s a happy ending, but I won’t know that until I get there I guess.
